Paul Bohdan Iskalo has been involved in the commercial real estate industry for more than 25 years, starting with the acquisition of his first commercial office building while still attending college.
Today, Iskalo Development Corp., with more than 40 properties and over 30 employees, is a full-service, commercial real estate development company. Its corporate mission is based on Paul Iskalo’s vision to identify commercial real estate opportunities in which long-term intrinsic value can be created and which will contribute to the betterment of the region.
Iskalo is proud of the careful consideration his company gives to the long-term impact of a project to its future occupants, surrounding neighborhood and the community in which it is located. The company focuses on redevelopment and revitalization of established neighborhoods (“smart growth”) versus green field development. This focus on redevelopment represents a specialized and sustainable market niche which he and his experienced staff find particularly fulfilling.
Starting with his first property, Iskalo quickly established and has maintained a reputation as a developer of well located, high quality properties with an emphasis on context sensitive, architecturally appropriate design. Success is measured based upon the quality of the projects completed, not the quantity. Iskalo projects have been recognized with such industry awards by The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and The American Institute of Architects (AIA).

Paul resides in Clarence, NY with his wife, Dr. Dora Iskalo. He also has two young sons, Julian and Christian.
